Butler PPD was organized on April 7, 1937. We serve approximately 6,300 customers in rural Butler and Saunders counties, and the villages of Abie, Bellwood, Bruno, Dwight, Garrison, Linwood, Loma, Malmo, Octavia, Rising City, Surprise, Touhy, Ulysses and Valparaiso. We have approximately 1,695 miles of line, 1,018 irrigation services, and 770 wells on control. Our total well horsepower is 50,028 and horsepower controlled is 45,927.
